Setback?!

I went to my doctor last week and found out I have atrial fibrillation. This is an irregular heartbeat. They have me on blood thinners and I will not know until next week if anything else (surgery) will be needed. I am going to proceed as if no surgery is required. A little scary I will admit.

Have a bid on the condo and the car. I hope we can close before I leave. I have everything in place for this move except for the Visa which went out today. Getting really antsy to go.

Had two going away parties this last weekend. Friday night at the chess club and Saturday night with some good friends. Both were nice and enjoyed both for different reasons.

Well, in 16 days I will leave Ohio and 21 days leave the country. Things are winding down and I am ready to start this next phase of my life. I will post once more before I leave.

One month to go

Only 29 days until I fly back to Florida. I go back to my brother and family on the 4th of May and fly out of there to Bangkok on the 9th. I have my tickets and will be arriving at 11:50 pm on the 10th (12:50 pm here). I have a nice place to stay (www.pmansion.com) fully furnished with maid service once a week for about $220 a month. It is near the BTS and Text n Talk.

Sent checks last week to all of my credit card companies and they are paid off. (YEAH). Now only have the car and condo to dispose of. Visited my brother this last weekend and visiting mom and other brother this weekend, near Toledo. Have requested my transcripts from Kent State and sent in my renewal for my International Drivers license. The only other thing I still need to get is my VISA. Will do that next week.

Really getting anxious to go. (after all how much Jerry Spranger and Oprah can a person watch). I will admit it's a little scary and exciting at the same time. Sort of like entering the unknown (Matt's head). I see there are more bombings in Southern Thailand. I just hope they don't bring it to Bangkok.

Aom is anxious to see me and I her. We talk about twice a week and send email about the same. Her English is not as good as Fao's but I can hear the improvement in her vocabulary.
