Good To GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw Dr. Ramanathan today and I am cleared to fly in Nine Days. Yippee! I will leave Ohio about 10:30 am on the 26th of May and the country about 2PM.

Last Monday (May 9th) I had two Stints placed in my heart and noticed an immediate improvement. My heart is now getting the blood it needs to do its job. They went in through my right arm and were finished in about an hour. I was released at noon the next day. I will be required to see a cardiologist within a month after reaching Thailand and once a quarter after that for the first year.

I am also debt free. The credit cards have been paid off and the condo and car have been sold. What a burden released off of my shoulders. I have a few books that TW is selling for me online and I sold some of my furniture to a chess buddy of mine. The rest of my time will be visiting with friends and relatives with a weekend trip to mom's.

If nothing else happens my next report will be from Thailand.

Major setback again

Well today I was suppose to leave for Florida but am still in the Buckeye state. I hope to leave on the 26th or 27th of May. All is set with the school (May 30th class). I hope to get at least a partial back on my flights. Come hell or high water I will make it or die trying.

Since I last left you I have been in and out of the hospital. I went in on the 27th of April to have a Cardio cath to find blockage in my heart. One of my major artieries feeding the heart had major blockage and will require a stent. After the Cardio Cath procedure a wedge was put in place to stop the bleeding. After 8 hours the wedge was removed. It was determined that I was still bleeding. A new wedge was put in place and another 8 hours without moving. At this point an ultrasound was done on the artery in my left leg. It was still bleeding internally. This was 3pm. By 6pm I was going to surgery to have the bleeding controlled. This was Thursday PM of the 28th of April. They were unable to find the bleeding artery!! From Thursday evening until Monday evening (5/2/05) I remained in the hospital recovering from this operation. I am still in a lot of pain as I write this Blog. I am scheduled for stent placement OUTPATIENT procedure on May 9th. This time they will go through the arm.

Also during my stay the Atrial Defibulation is under control and is not a problem. Wish me luck.
