Hello

Hello all. My name is Donald Randolph and I am moving to Thailand at the end of April. Why, would you leave the safety and security of the states, you ask? It's so I can do what I want to do as far as a career change goes (teach), experience a whole new way of life ( I have visted three times), to travel ( a favorite hobby of mind), and romance (met a nice Thai lady on my last trip).

February 15th (my birthday) was my last day on my last job. I worked for a company for 23 years and was going crazy. The people are worked with were great and I had one of the best bosses in the world (that's you Melissa, thanks for everything). I was making decent money but felt unfulfilled. I had worked for a couple of years as a corporate trainer and really enjoyed he work. After deciding I might want to relocate to Thailand (after my 2nd visit last June), I started to research opportunities and ran across ajarn.com and have been a regular luker for months.

Between now and April 25th (nine weeks and four days) i have to get my condo ready to sell, sell it, pay off my bills, visit with family and friends, get a Visa, send my application to the proper CELTA school. A lot of work but I try to keep my focus. I will try to add something on a weekly basis when I can to let you know of my progress and pitfalls.
